mran khan is one of the most eminent of personalities of Pakistan. He is a former cricketer, who led the Pakistani cricket team to the World Cup victory of 1992. Moreover, now he is one of the leading politician of Pakistan as well as the founder of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital which is one of the largest charitable organizations of the country. Another feather in his cap is that through fund raising in established a college in Mianwali in 2008 which is formally known as Namal College.
Imran Khan is known for his social work. In 1991 he had founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust using funds and donations which exceeded 25 million dollars which had been raised by Imran Khan himself, from throughout the globe. Later, he opened a cancer hospital which offered free medical care to patients. In 2008, he inaugurated Namal College in Mianwali.
Imran khan is seen as an inspiration for many Pakistanis and especially for the youth of the country. Imran’s straight-forwardness and his constant opposition against the corrupt rulers and political parties of the country has compelled people to join him and his political party; Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. This is majorly because Imran Khan is not seen as an illiterate corrupt politician and whose sole motive is to bring justice and run the country as Quaid-e-Azam had dreamed it to be.
During Musharraf’s reign, Imran Khan was constantly threatened to be jailed due to his consistent support for the instatement of Supreme Court Judge; Iftikhar Chaudhry. During Musharraf’s era, Imran Khan had unfailing criticized the dictator for his wrong-doings irrespective of the fact that he was under consistent danger. This further strengthens Imran Khan’s credibility as a true and honest leader who is not afraid to point out the flaws in the ruling governments and their leadership.
30th October 2011, was the day when Imran Khan’s undying efforts finally paid. His successful Jalsa which was held in Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore where crowds had thronged to support Imran Khan’s cause for a sovereign Pakistan. What some people forgot was that Imran Khan did not gain such political fame overnight, but he had worked tirelessly for the past 15 years in order to gain such backing and support. He gave up his lifestyle and family for Pakistan which is something not to be seen in our other ‘leadership’. As we all know, Mr. Khan is not from a political background and thus, he might not have the support of the leading leadership and their traditionalist followers, but he does have the everlasting support and love of the youth, the common man who is tired of seeing a few names run their country ruthlessly.
What amuses me more is that a few people are still not ‘sure’ whether Imran Khan is the right man or not. Questions are arisen out about the men who are politically favouring him; his party workers. What we forget is that if the leader is truthful, fair to his job, then those who are under him or with him are compelled to work like him and do as their leader says. Imran Khan is a hope for change, a hope for a brighter future of Pakistan and we as Pakistanis must never lose hope because as they say ‘umeed per dunya kaym hai’.

A very well written article. Kudos to the writer!
ReplyDeleteGreat article. Imran Khan is an inspirational catalyst. Truly the only hope left.
ReplyDeleteyou say thatimran khan's sole motivation is run the country the way jinnah wanted it to
ReplyDeletebut is that really true?
i mean jinnah wanted pakistan to be a secular state where state and religon do not mix but imran khan has sided time after time with right wing religious parties
i couldn't agree more. Pakistan desperately need someone like Imran Khan who can revive the beauty of Pakistan and restore its image and status towards the Glory.
ReplyDeleteVote for Imran Khan. be a part for the change. After all, Pakistan belongs to all of us and we are also responsible to uplift its honor and integrity for the world to see.
To bring a revolutionary change in Pakistan i agreed with writer's idea that Imran Khan is right person as stated above he has made countless efforts for the progress of our country. Imran Khan is the real asset so we should value him and bring a positive change to lead towards healthy, economically stable and prosperous society.
ReplyDeleteI agree that imran khan is the right choice this time not because hes the best leader..as he sides to much with the religious parties for my liking however that being said everybody else has been tested and they have failed so imran khan does look like the best option avaliable
ReplyDeleteFrom the crop of politicians we have at our disposal- the is probably the least controversial and the best choice we could have. Furthermore, the others have been in reign twice each- and failed, miserably. Each time. It's time for someone new. Someone who can bring us out of this mess and provide us with the basic rights that we as human beings and then Pakistanis are entitled too. Jaan deyo miaan sahab- saadi wari aan do! Imran Khan for the win! <3
ReplyDeleteI agree with the writer's idea that in the current scenario where Pakistan is gripped in the tentacles of corruption, inflation and ruthless politicians who have made politics an arena for their malicious practices, Imran khan is the only hope towards a positive change and consequently a better nation.
ReplyDeleteI some what agree that yes he is the best option and he has a big support from the youth of pakistan but where u talk about a few ppl not bein sure whether he is da rite option or not is probably because practicality matters a lot to da common man and dis is wat lacks to b realistic.
ReplyDeleteat this stage pakistan really needs an honest and dedicated leader who wants to do something for the country and not himself. i agree with the writer that imran khan is the only leader right now who can show us a way forward.
ReplyDeletethis article is a perfect answer to those who still question Imran Khan's leadership capabilities and the fact that hes our biggest hope!! well written!!
ReplyDeletewell written!!!!he is a true leader....all my prayers are with him....inshaa Allah i will be voting for him....he will excel in everything he will do....
ReplyDeleteI dont agree with the ideaa of bringing imran khan to power as he is not capable of being given sch responsibilty he has no experience in the field and surely he would lead to the collapse of our nation ...go imran khan goo!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
ReplyDeleteawesomee articlee..!!
ReplyDeleteIn this era of crisis our country needs a strong figurehead to guide it towards prosperity . Imran Khan has shown us a glimpse that he can be the figurehead our country needs . Out of all the politician Imran Khan deserves to be given a chance to make a difference as a leader.

It's forlorn to see that Pakistan is engulfed in multifarious problems which does not have dead-ends. At this stage in time, I think there is only one Power of Hope i.e. Imran Khan-the hero in a real sense. So, do vote for him for a better future of Pakistan. And I am glad that all of you support him. People who disagree with me should acknowledge Imran Khan as a leader first and then decide whom to vote.
ReplyDeleteTo begin with, many of us are looking up for a 'change' and quite many of us believe that Imran Khan will bring this change. But how?? There is a big question mark. How can a single person change the fate of 180 million people? The mostly likely answer to these question is that on one can change a nation's fate until every single person of that nation changes him/her-self at the first place, as the saying goes 'charity starts at home'. Yes we need a moral regeneration and moral uplift to bring about this change so from now own start changing yourself because Tusanami is not far now.. BRING IT ONNN..
ReplyDeletenyc effort hiba a very good article . . .
ReplyDeleteIt is true Hiba that Imran Khan seems to be the only shore in the ocean of our socio-economic problems.
ReplyDeleteTough times call for charismatic leadership which we find integral in Imran Khan alongwith strong commitment to the well-needed party agenda and high personal values.
The question remains whether the team he builds up is committed with the same intensity or Not? I hope he proves to be a great team builder like he has done in the past as well. But having said that i am up for VOTING FOR IMRAN KHAN!
Finally a light at the end of a 64 year old long tunnel. Long Live Imran Khan :D annddd a very well written article aswell :)
ReplyDeletei agree..... imran khan is the only sign of hope we have.
ReplyDeletewell said umeed pe dunya kayam hai....no doubt he is a great person and hope that he will be the right choice for pakistan.....
ReplyDeleteIndeed. A ray of hope for the depressed and disappointed Pakistanis.
ReplyDeleteVery good article.... i like it... nd InshAllah Imran khan will b our next prime minister
ReplyDeleteVery good article.... i like it... nd InshAllah Imran khan will b our next prime minister
ReplyDeleteWell said Hiba . Who ever u are but ur aritcle has changed my views about imran khan . Now i think Imran Khan should be the next leader of our country . He is the only person who can bring a change in pakistan . All the corrupt politicians should go and Imran Khan should be the leader of Pakistan . This will be only possible if todays youth is with him and the educated class
ReplyDeleteLONG LIVE IMRAN KHAN . WE WANT U AS THE NEXT PM OF PAKISTAN
ReplyDeletePakistani's generally disapprove of any change coming their way. Its only when they see it working they pretend that they favored the cause since eternity.
ReplyDeleteImran khan's time is yet to come.
well this man would definately bring a change
ReplyDeleteHe may not be a perfect person. But he is indeed the first drop of the rain we need to emerge as a better nation . We need a revolution and this guy right here is surely the first step towards it
ReplyDeleteGreat Article
Truly said. He is the only Power of Hope we Pakistani's have as seen previously in the 1992 World Cup win. So, people vote ONLY for Imran Khan for a better future of our country.
ReplyDeleteIMRAN KHAN IS A GREAT LEADER ..
ReplyDeleteImran Khan is the only candidate who even seems to understand the ethical concepts in Islam. Furthermore he has the intelligence and charisma to be a great leader, and represent Pakistan on the world stage with grace and professionalism. Will keep his success in my prayers.
